There are times when life throws you curve balls that can’t be caught. It feels more like were thrown and landed right in your throat. Life is choking you. Everything in you wants to stop, but as time moves you must do the same. Each second might feel like an hour, but you are still breathing. Your next best action, deepen your breath, then focus on your breath.
Pause, close your eyes, breathe in for five seconds through your nose. Hold your breath for five seconds, and breathe out for five seconds through your nose.
Repeat this exercise three times.
Be patient with what comes up, be patient with your feelings, and know this too shall pass.
Remember every moment is new moment.
Breathe, and take one small next action that will help you. If you need to breathe again, do it. If you need to cry, that is fine too.
Know that the ebb and flow of life brings a lot to carry. With each challenge, growth and goodness is on the other side.
For now, just breathe.
